Position: Sr Software Engineer 
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract with good chances of extension
 
Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-volume, full-stack web applications that support Manheim’s strategic business objectives. The Senior Software Engineer will work within a cross-functional Agile team and contribute across backend services, frontend interfaces, and system integrations while helping drive technical excellence and innovation.
 
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-quality full-stack web applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to meet sprint and business goals
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to system architecture, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build strong partnerships with business and technical stakeholders
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong experience with Java technologies (Spring Boot, Maven, testing frameworks)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with React or similar frameworks
  • Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and authentication protocols
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automated testing
  • Cloud experience (AWS preferred) including deployment, infrastructure, and security
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and test-driven development
  • Experience with AI tools is a plus
