Job Title: Sr Software Engineer - Backend/ML
Location: San Mateo, CA
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Range: $60/Hr to $67/Hr on W2
Note: Will go onsite once per month and as needed for workshops and team meetings
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain RESTful Web Services API and algorithms
Build, train, test, and deploy ML models
Learn, collaborate, and network alongside world-class engineers
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodology
Create clear documentation, diagrams and knowledge base articles
Working with engineers, backend services, and QA teams to implement and test features.
Diagnosing and solving operational issues in a timely manner to ensure high availability of our services.
Qualifications:
4+ years of proven design and programming experience in Java, Python and/or Golang, developing highly scalable web server applications based on object-oriented design patterns and powered by NoSQL data stores on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience in Machine Learning
Deep Learning framework experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with Computer Vision, Graphics, and/or Game Engines is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
