Sr Software Engineer, Employee Experience & Productivity

Join IS&Ts Services Technology team and build cutting-edge IT systems for Apple TV+ Studio & Production and Music operations. As a Sr. Software Engineer, youll architect and develop large-scale web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality solutions in a fast paced environment. Youll own applications end-to-end, working full stack and contributing to a robust technology ecosystem. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior software engineer to join our dynamic and expanding team. In this role, you will be part of a larger engineering team working on highly integrated applications in a fast paced environment. You will champion innovation by leveraging modern generative AI tools to accelerate documentation and optimize workflows. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Design and Product, to design and develop complex, distributed, high-quality solutions with tight deadlines.Designing and developing microservices and APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL). Working with Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure or GCP), and Cloud Services (e.g, functions/lambdas). Knowledge of containerization concepts like Kubernetes, Docker and others. Experience with DevOps process automation using Terraform, Pulumi, or alternatives.Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 7 + years programming experience in Java, or Node.js, and frontend Javascript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js. 7 + years experience using SQL or NoSQL Databases.Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins) and testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit). Experience working with distributed, global teams. Experience working with observability and monitoring systems such as Dynatrace or DataDog. Experience working in highly integrated systems. Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work and solve problems independently. Experience with continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins) and testing frameworks for Unit, API and integration testing(e.g. JUnit). Experience using Agentic AI for development, testing and DevOps.
