Sr. Software Engineer - .NET/Azure

Summary

We are seeking experienced software engineers to support the development of a next-generation platform for our client. This team will build scalable, Cloud-native solutions focused on real-time messaging, integrations, APIs, and microservices in a modern Azure environment. The ideal candidate will have Extensive experience with .NET, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and Cloud-native application development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.

• Agile software development experience.

• Experience with the following:

• C# and modern .NET (.NET 6/7/8+);

• Microsoft Azure;

• Event-Driven Architecture;

• Distributed Systems & Saga patterns;

• Kafka and/or Azure Event Hubs;

• Cosmos DB or other NoSQL/Document databases;

• REST API development;

• Microservices Architecture.

• Strong problem-solving and system design skills.

• Experience building scalable, high-volume applications.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Able to contribute quickly to critical business initiatives.

Preferred

• Experience with the following:
• MassTransit;
• xUnit.net;
• Integration Testing;
• Testcontainers;
• Docker;
• React;
• Material UI (MUI);
• CI/CD Pipelines;
• AI/Generative.

This is a 6-month-plus Contract opportunity with potential to hire with our Minneapolis, MN client.
