The Sr. Software Engineer (OIPA) role is based in Durham, North Carolina, with remote work available until COVID restrictions are lifted. This is a 12+ month contract position.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading technical solutions and presenting proofs of concept (POC), along with a strong understanding of business requirements. They will define, maintain, and support Java development environments and best practices, utilizing tools like Maven, Sonar, and other open-source resources.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues in both production and non-production environments, performing code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing with open-source frameworks. Additionally, the candidate will mentor junior team members to foster skill development and collaborative growth.
