Sr. Software Engineer

Technical Requirements:
• 7+ years in data and analytics roles, with 5+ years hands-on BI development.
• Advanced Power BI — DAX, data modeling, visuals, RLS, performance tuning.
• Advanced Tableau — maintains complex existing dashboards; able to transition them onto Power BI.
• Working familiarity with SAS — enough to support, interpret, and retire legacy work.
• GCP / BigQuery (via MCC) — SQL, data access, query performance.
• Semantic layer design and performance tuning across mixed BI tools.
• SQL required; M / Power Query, DAX; Python or R a plus.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA in BI — row-level security, PHI minimization in reports, audit. Other Requirements:
• Cross-stack fluency: Operates across legacy and target tooling without losing momentum.
• Performance owner: Treats slow reports and queries as a problem to fix, not live with.
• Clear documentation: Documents datasets, measures, and assumptions so others can self serve.
• Healthcare context: Understands how BI is consumed in clinical and administrative settings.
Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 5 years of experience as noted below; OR an Associate's degree in Computer/Science/Engineering or related field with 7 years of experience


Compensation: $75-78 hourly DOE
