Sr Software Engineer- SAP S4 Cash Apps & Treasury Investments

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Configurator to support and enhance enterprise finance systems with a focus on Order to Cash, Cash Application, Bank Accounting, and Treasury Investment and Risk Management. This is a high impact role for a hands on SAP finance professional who can bridge business requirements and technical solutions while driving operational efficiency across critical financial processes.

The successful candidate will lead functional design and configuration efforts, partner closely with Finance and business stakeholders, and provide expertise across cash management, treasury operations, banking integrations, and payment processing. This individual will play a key role in supporting production operations, delivering scalable solutions, and strengthening internal capabilities within the SAP Finance landscape.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the configuration, optimization, and support of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions focused on Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, Bank Accounting, and Treasury functions

• Design and support Electronic Bank Statement processing, cash reconciliation, payment processing, and customer account management workflows

• Partner with Finance, Sales, Order Management, and technology teams to deliver scalable business solutions and system enhancements

• Provide hands on configuration, troubleshooting, and production support for complex SAP Finance processes

• Support Treasury Investment and Risk Management functionality and help establish internal expertise within this area

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP functional designs and system configurations

• Develop reporting, process improvements, and automation opportunities that enhance financial visibility and operational efficiency

• Mentor team members on SAP best practices, configuration standards, and functional design approaches

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 5 to 8 plus years of hands on SAP Finance functional experience in large enterprise environments

• Deep expertise with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including version 2023 and related finance modules

• Extensive configuration experience within Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, Bank Accounting, Electronic Bank Statements, Bank Reconciliation, and Treasury Investment and Risk Management

• Demonstrated ability to articulate hands on configuration experience, T codes utilized, business requirements addressed, and outcomes delivered

• Experience supporting Order to Cash processes and integrating SAP Finance with Sales, Customer Portal, and Order Management functions

• Experience with SAP CAR and related enterprise finance technologies preferred

• Proven track record supporting both SAP implementations and ongoing production operations

• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with the capacity to resolve complex functional issues

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders

• Self directed, collaborative, and capable of driving initiatives while managing competing priorities in a fast paced environment
