The Role:
The Vehicle Order Fulfillment team owns and advances a portfolio of business-vital applications that enable plant execution every day across GM's manufacturing footprint. These applications help manufacturing teams plan what to run, optimize schedules, move material through the plant, and provide the operational data and control needed to keep production moving. In short, this team supports systems that are foundational to how GM plants execute the manufacturing process and deliver vehicles at scale.
We're looking for a Sr. Software Engineer who brings broad technical depth, strategic thinking, and a passion for building high-quality, resilient software. In this role, you will help lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale Java and React solutions, modernize critical manufacturing applications, and guide a talented team of developers in building scalable platforms that directly support plant operations and business outcomes.
