Primary Function of Position
The Sr. Sourcing Manager, HR & Professional Services will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across HR services, contingent workforce, and the broader professional services category to deliver optimal value and mitigate risk for Intuitive Surgical (Intuitive). This role is critical in enabling innovation and operational excellence by partnering with internal teams to secure high-quality services and solutions. Key responsibilities include managing spend for contingent workforce programs, collaborating with HR Benefits & Total Rewards teams, and overseeing consulting and related professional services. The Sr. Sourcing Manager will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and Legal, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in supplier and market research, data analysis, baseline development, RFP creation, bid management, contract negotiation, and category strategy development. Post-sourcing activities will include contract and business reviews, spend analysis, and supplier performance management. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond to ad-hoc sourcing requests with agility and precision.

Compensation We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
