100% Remote (U.S.), Jacksonville, FL-based company
Preferred Time Zone: Eastern Time Zone (Central Time Zone will also be considered)
Duration: Initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension or conversion to full-time
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, Eastern Time business hours
 
ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Senior SQL Developer to join a highly respected healthcare organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SQL professional who enjoys designing scalable database solutions, optimizing performance, and developing enterprise-level reporting solutions in a collaborative remote environment.
 
This position is 100% remote; however, candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central Time Zone to support business operations during Eastern Time business hours. Eastern Time Zone candidates are strongly preferred.
 
Responsibilities

• Design and develop SQL Server database schemas, tables, views, and indexed views.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL stored procedures and functions.
• Write and tune complex SQL queries for high-performance applications.
• Create and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes.
• Develop and support SSRS and Power BI reports for business users.
• Work with large, complex datasets while ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot SQL performance issues and recommend database improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Stay current with SQL Server and T-SQL best practices and emerging technologies.

 
Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience; professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
• Extensive experience developing with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in advanced T-SQL programming.
• Experience designing database objects, including tables, views, indexed views, and stored procedures.
• Experience developing SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
• Experience building Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Strong understanding of SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience working with large enterprise databases.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
