Growing manufacturing company seeking an experienced Senior Steel Buyer to support purchasing and supplier management activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage steel sourcing and purchasing activities.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements.
- Monitor market conditions and support sourcing decisions.
- Work closely with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams.
- Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 5+ years of purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
- Experience purchasing steel, metals, or industrial raw materials.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
