The opportunity:

Reporting to the Regional Vice President for Channels & Alliances for International Sales, this role is responsible for the development, engagement, contribution and success of Channel and Alliance relationships in South Korea in 4 key areas: Distributors & Resellers, System Integrators, ISVs & Cloud Service Providers.

You are great at:

  • Working with the sales leader & team to define the market opportunity, strategy & business plan for our partners in South Korea.
  • Accountability for managing & reporting the progress to plan throughout the year.
  • Applying a data driven approach to business planning & reporting
  • Engaging all stakeholders internally & externally to realize the business plan.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to craft win:win scenarios.
  • Planning, partner engagement, enablement, demand generation, pipeline management, contracting & transacting and customer success.
  • Learning & sharing best practices with other regional partner leaders and stakeholders.

What it takes:

  • Previous enterprise software sales and management experience (both direct and indirect).
  • Experience of working with large software vendors particularly SAP, Microsoft, AWS and/or Google is valuable.
  • Strong business acumen and capable of developing and managing strategic plans with partner and company executives and challenging the status quo.
  • Proven history of analysing situations, employing creative and effective decision making to solve problems/achieve results.
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication skills and excellent negotiating skills and ability to present to both small and large audiences.
  • Ability to create leverage via your sphere of influence vs sphere of direct control
  • Embracing process excellence & policy adherence.
  • Excellent English language skills (in addition to Korean)
