Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and managing supplier relationships within the IT organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in negotiating technology procurement contracts, managing supplier performance, and delivering cost reduction initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 5 years of sourcing experience
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on technology procurement
- Experience in supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing
- Ability to review contracts, highlight concerns, and collaborate with IT stakeholders
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with legal partners
- Understanding of software contracts
- CPSM, APICS, or other supply chain management certification
- Training and/or experience with LEAN and Six Sigma practices
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal IT stakeholders to drive cost reduction initiatives
- Lead the development of strategic sourcing initiatives
- Negotiate price, terms, and quality requirements with suppliers
- Support global IT organization in implementing best practices in contracting processes
- Transform business requirements for IT products and services into actionable specifications
