You will own 3D design, systems integration, and weight and balance considerations for custom aircraft systems using Siemens NX. This role requires a self‑directed engineer who can take a design from requirements to a releasable package with minimal oversight.WHAT YOU'LL DODesign and DevelopDesign structural aircraft systems and components in Siemens NX from concept through production release.Develop and manage 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings to airworthiness standards.Perform weight and balance studies to support component sizing and system layout decisions.Research and select components and materials based on structural performance, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.Design metallic and composite structural elements including tanks, mounting structures, and integrated systems.Integrate and CoordinateCoordinate with lead engineers, stress, certification, and systems teams to ensure design intent is met.Manage configuration and release of parts and assemblies through PLM tools (Teamcenter or equivalent).Prepare engineering documentation and design presentations for internal and client reviews.Work cross‑functionally with all required engineering disciplines to support program milestones.ImpactYour designs go directly onto aircraft.
