We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting industrial, manufacturing, and high-tech facility projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead structural design efforts, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and work directly with clients on complex facility and equipment support projects.
Responsibilities
- Design structural steel systems for industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities, including equipment supports, seismic bracing, equipment anchorage, pipe, conduit, and duct supports, access platforms, stairs, and related structural components.
- Evaluate existing structures and develop structural modifications and reinforcement solutions.
- Prepare structural calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
- Coordinate structural designs with mechanical, electrical, process, and other engineering disciplines.
- Participate in client meetings, technical reviews, and design coordination throughout project execution.
- Provide engineering support during construction and respond to design-related questions as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 7+ years of structural engineering design experience.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel design, reinforced concrete design, seismic design, and applicable building codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, or mission-critical facility projects is preferred.
- Proficiency with RISA and Microsoft Office; experience with additional structural analysis software is a plus.
- PE or SE license preferred.
- Strong communication, technical writing, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
