    Greenville, SC (Primary) | Nationwide Office FlexibilityHargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer (P.E.) to support complex industrial EPC projects across the U.S. This role is anchored in our Greenville, SC office with flexibility to support projects from additional Hargrove offices in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, based on project and business needs.What You'll DoPerform complete civil and structural engineering design for complex industrial projectsApply advanced engineering techniques and analysis under general supervisionServe as Engineer of Record (EOR) where professional engineering certification is requiredDevelop conceptual layouts, structural framing concepts, and cost studiesDevelop estimate-level and detailed designs, calculations, and material take-offsProduce clear, organized calculations and sketches suitable for checking, drafting, and client deliverablesEnsure designs emphasize constructability, efficiency, and client expectationsReview and check calculations, drawings, and vendor documentation for accuracy and code complianceCoordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation)Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designersSupport procurement through scopes, specifications, and bid packagesReview fabrication drawings and construction submittalsPerform fieldwork as needed, including tie-ins and construction supportLead civil/structural efforts on small to large projects, ensuring execution within scope, schedule, and budgetSupport interoffice execution and virtual project teamsWhat We're Looking ForEducation & CredentialsBachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university (Structural coursework required for structural-focused roles)Professional Engineer (P.E.) license – RequiredExperience6+ years of relevant industrial civil/structural engineering experienceEPC experience supporting process, manufacturing, or heavy industrial facilitiesTechnical ExpertiseStrong knowledge of International Building Code (IBC), ASCE, AISC, ACI, and related standardsExperience using civil/structural analysis software and interpreting resultsKnowledge of industrial foundations, framing systems, and structural materialsAbility to develop construction specifications, estimate engineering hours, material quantities, and construction costs, lead teams and deliver on commitmentsProficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStationStrong communication, presentation, and client-facing skillsAbility to lead interoffice and virtual teams effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookLocations & Work ModelPrimary location: Greenville, SCOffice flexibility: TX, LA, AL, GA, PAHybrid and interoffice execution support may be availableRelocation assistance may be offered for qualified candidatesBenefitsCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsTechnical leadership and growth opportunitiesLong-term project stabilityCollaborative, employee-focused cultureEqual Opportunity Employment StatementHargrove is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
