    Description

    We are seeking a Structural Lead Engineer to lead and manage a global team of Structural Engineers and designers/3D modelers for detail engineering of a fast-paced modularized LNG project. Experience: 7–10 years in a lead position.Responsibilities Review the work of engineers and designers developing engineering and design documents for Piling & Foundation and Module & Stick Built Steel Pipe Racks/Structures as needed for the project.Reviewing, monitoring and ensuring compliance requirements are met for the design (e.g. standards, specifications and local codes and regulations).Regularly review vendor documents to ensure specifications and data sheet requirements are met.Lead a group of 15–20 engineers and designers/3D modelers.Develop and lead others in ways of improving the design and lowering cost.Consider multiple solutions and make decisions based on data analysis.Manage several different assignments simultaneously.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (minimum).10–18 years of relevant experience in refining and petrochemical industry, LNG projects, preferably with EPC experience, including 7–10 years in a lead position.Licensed Professional Engineer (NCEES) preferred.Self-directed with limited supervision; provides guidance and training to less experienced engineers.Works with project teams as a representative and coordinates work within the discipline department.Ability to adapt to varying demands and manage changes.Strong oral and written communication skills; collaborates across departments and involves others in problem-solving.Serves as a technical resource and point of contact for external or internal customers.Experience in managing and responding to RFIs from owner's construction team, vendors, and EPC contractors.Software Knowledge STAAD Pro, Risa, STAAD Foundation, MAT3D Foundation, 3D MathCADNavisworks, MicroStation, AutoCADJob Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: ContractIndustry: Oil and Gas and Engineering Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
