This role is intended for structural engineers with experience in building systems, steel structures, or solar support structures. This role requires strong experience applying U.S. structural codes, including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, and/or AISI S100.
Position Summary:
The Sr. Structural Systems Engineer is responsible for translating structural system requirements into effective connector solutions and understanding how connector performance influences the structures they join. This is a senior level individual contributor role supporting two business lines: Constructionfocused on off-site and modular building systemsand Energies, including utility-scale solar PV tracker systems.
The primary objective of the role is to ensure connector designs are grounded in a strong understanding of system behavior, structural demands, and applicable codes and standards. The engineer will support product development and customer integration through rigorous structural analysis, clear engineering rationale, and practical design guidance. The position blends system-level structural engineering, codes and standards expertise, product development support, and direct customer engagement.
