Job Overview:
Pay Range: $59.35hr - $85.81hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
- Expert knowledge of subcontract terms and conditions and EPC contracting practices.
- Proven leadership and supervisory capability.
- Strong negotiation, judgment, and decision making skills.
- Ability to operate as a trusted deputy and extension of the Project Subcontracts Manager.
- Full time on site availability.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule which records the Project's agreed assignment of various subcontract management tasks and the Standard Work Process Procedures applicable to Subcontract Management.
- Manage assigned subcontracts maintaining a continual review of progress and providing management with information regarding projected financial or technical difficulties.
- Coordinate with designated staff on operational activities affecting contractual rights and obligations, subcontract performance, and other major matters.
- Manage moderately complex contract changes by negotiating with personnel and obtaining settlement.
- Conform and ensure subcontract execution.
- Direct negotiation in the commitment of subcontracts.
- Develop and issue subcontracts and services agreements as assigned.
- Prepare bidders' lists and pre-qualify bidders.
- Form bid request packages and issue bid request packages to approved bidders.
- Coordinate bidders' questions and answers to those questions.
- Receive bids and evaluate bids commercially.
- Prepare Commercial Bid Summary and recommendations.
- Recommend and secure approvals in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare subcontract documents for execution.
- Prepare and organize assigned meetings, such as pre-bid, bid clarification and pre-award meetings, for the purpose of ensuring complete understanding and agreement between the organization, the customer and contractor on all contractual matters.
- Conduct meetings and prepare and issue meeting notes delineating important statements, required actions and schedules after reviewing plan and agenda with supervisor.
