Job TitleProject Leadership & ExecutionAbout Our ClientA Highly-Rated General Contractor with over 35 years of delivering successful projects in South Florida and throughout the state. Focused in the commercial space including; Hospitality, Aviation, Municipal and other large commercial builds (ground up and renovation).Job DescriptionProject Leadership & ExecutionLead all field operations from preconstruction through project closeout on projects valued at $50M+.Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including short-interval (3-6 week) look-ahead schedules.Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure alignment on schedule, cost, subcontractor performance, and procurement activities.Drive project milestones, identifying and resolving potential delays or conflicts proactively.Team ManagementSupervise and mentor assistant superintendents, field engineers, foremen, and trade partners.Build, lead, and maintain strong jobsite culture focused on accountability, safety, and performance.Conduct regular coordination meetings with subcontractors and internal teams.Safety ManagementEnforce and promote a strong safety culture consistent with OSHA, company policies, and local regulations.Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure all subcontractors comply with safety requirements.Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation when necessary.Quality ControlEnsure all work meets plans, specifications, codes, and owner expectations.Implement and manage quality control programs and inspections throughout all project phases.Coordinate with architects, engineers, and inspectors for approvals and issue resolution.Subcontractor CoordinationManage subcontractor activities, sequencing, and jobsite logistics.Ensure subcontractors meet scheduling, quality, and safety expectations.Resolve field conflicts and coordination challenges across multiple trades.Documentation & ReportingMaintain daily reports, logs, and documentation of jobsite activity.Track and report progress against schedule and key milestones.Assist in managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders as they impact field operations.Client & Stakeholder RelationsServe as the primary on-site representative for owners, architects, inspectors, and local officials.Maintain strong relationships with municipal authorities, especially for public-sector projects.Represent the company professionally in all interactions.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).15- 20+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a minimum of 5 years as a lead or senior superintendent on projects exceeding $50M.Proven experience delivering large-scale hospitality, municipal, or institutional projects.Strong knowledge of South Florida building codes, permitting processes, and environmental considerations.Technical SkillsProficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and construction management platforms (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.Strong understanding of construction sequencing, MEP systems, and site logistics for complex builds.Leadership & Core CompetenciesExceptional leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Results-driven with a proactive approach to project challenges.High attention to detail and commitment to quality.What's on OfferCompetitive base salary (commensurate with experience)Bonus (20% - consistently paid out based on overall company performance)Company Truck and Gas CardComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company match3 Weeks Paid time off and holidaysJob SummarySector: ConstructionSub Sector: Site ManagerIndustry: PropertyWhere: West Palm BeachContract Type: Permanent
