    Description

    As a Sr Supplier Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will ensure that our suppliers meet Honeywell's quality standards and strategy in the manufacture of components. You will be responsible for driving supplier performance improvement, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the highest level of quality in our supply chain.In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for conducting supplier audits, performing root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to address quality issues.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesDrive supplier performance improvement initiatives to achieve worldclass levels of qualityDevelop and implement supplier quality strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirementsConduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvementDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrenceCollaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve quality issuesMonitor supplier quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvementProvide technical support and guidance to suppliers to help them meet Honeywells quality requirementsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics5+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related roleStrong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologiesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsWillingness to travel as required 50%Aerospace and or Defense experienceWE VALUEBachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldMaster's degree in Engineering or a related fieldExperience in leading supplier performance improvement initiativesSix Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologiesKnowledge of industry quality standards and requirementsExperience in conducting supplier audits and performing root cause analysisStrong project management skillsAbility to influence and negotiate with suppliersContinuous improvement mindsetBenefits of Working for HoneywellIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side‑by‑side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
