What You'll Do - You'll Make the Moment

Strategic Analytics & Insights

  • Develop and maintain enterprise‑level spend analytics for all indirect categories (e.g., Facilities, IT, Marketing, HR, Professional Services, MRO).
  • Identify cost‑savings opportunities through data mining, trend analysis, benchmarking, and predictive modeling.
  • Build and manage procurement performance dashboards (savings, compliance, cycle time, supplier mix, risk indicators).
  • Conduct opportunity assessments to support category strategy development and sourcing pipelines.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for executive leadership.

Supplier & Market Intelligence

  • Own data governance for procurement analytics, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems.
  • Partner with IT to enhance procurement tools (ERP, Sourcing Platforms, CLM, BI platforms).
  • Lead automation initiatives using RPA, AI/ML, or workflow tools to streamline procurement processes.
  • Improve data integration across AP, finance, sourcing, and supplier systems.

Business Partnering & Leadership

  • Serve as the analytics thought leader for the Indirect Procurement organization.
  • Partner with category managers to shape strategies using data‑driven insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in procurement analytics, supply chain analytics, or strategic sourcing.
  • Advanced Excel and SQL skills; experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of indirect procurement categories and spend structures.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills to influence and guide sourcing decisions through compelling insights.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and reasoning skills with a problem-solving and results focused approach.
  • Strong proficiency in BI and Analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Developing analytic processes and/or implementing tools and platforms for a sourcing organization.
  • Advanced Excel and SQL skills, creating/interpreting complex datasets and advanced analytics.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data mining.

Environment and Working Conditions

  • Minimal travel may be required.
  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel to vendor sites, distribution centers, and restaurant locations.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
