Job Description:

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Sr. Support Analyst reporting to the Infrastructure Manager in Midland, Texas. This position will be responsible for providing technical support and light system/ network administration in the Midland office. The ideal candidate will have strong technical as well as communication skills and be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

General Responsibilities

  • Provides front-line PC, Network and Telephony support to users

  • Administrative tasks (AD, GPO, file permissions etc.) with guidance as required

  • Basic network troubleshooting skills (DNS, DHCP, traceroute, IP subnetting, VLAN, Ethernet)

  • Understanding of end-user support for M365 platform and applications (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, OWA)

  • Owns support of AV equipment in conference rooms

  • Uses and maintains OS and application deployment services (SCCM)

  • Maintains inventory and assists in establishing recommendations for equipment procurement

  • Drives to complete work efforts in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

  • Customer centric and positive attitude toward customer issues.

  • Demonstrates a strong troubleshooting methodology

  • Identifies, suggests, plans, implements and documents potential procedural improvements with guidance as required

  • Follows and helps to develop repeatable procedures for successful deployment and administration of IT assets

  • Collaborates with other IT team members

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Windows Operating systems

  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including laptops, printers, and cell phones

  • Three (3) years’ experience in IT or a related discipline 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related discipline

  • Help Desk experience
