A growing organization is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join its cloud-first IT team on a contract-to-hire basis. This individual will serve as a key technical resource supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and security initiatives in a modern SaaS-focused environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Administer Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Purview, and Security
- Manage Azure, Entra ID, Intune, policy deployments, and endpoint management
- Support networking infrastructure including firewalls, switches, wireless technologies, and VLANs
- Evaluate and improve cloud infrastructure and security posture
- Provide senior-level technical support and infrastructure administration
- Partner closely with IT leadership on modernization initiatives
Requirements:
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience
- Azure and Intune expertise
- Networking knowledge including firewalls, switches, and VLANs
- Experience working within cloud-first or SaaS environments
- Ability to work onsite in Northern Virginia three days per week
Preferred:
- CMMC or NIST experience
- Palo Alto and Aruba experience
- Government contracting industry experience
Compensation:
- $120,000-$130,000 base salary with flexibility up to $145,000 for highly qualified candidates.
Schedule:
- Hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
