ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Lead Systems/Network Engineer for a managed services organization which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in Windows systems administration and technical team leadership looking to further their career in enterprise IT operations and overall people management.

• Handle Tier III systems administration and escalations for complex technical issues across Windows-based enterprise and client environments
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, conduct performance reviews, and provide technical leadership to engineering team members
• Support client-facing technical troubleshooting across networking, security, infrastructure, and system connectivity
• Lead technology projects including cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and email migrations
• Participate in on-call rotation and serve as primary escalation point for critical incidents and root-cause analysis

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years of hands-on information technology systems administration experience
• Proven customer-facing communication skills, collaborative leadership mindset, and demonstrated ability to mentor and coach technical staff
• Extensive hands-on experience with VMWare or Hyper V
• Strong hardware/software RAID skills
• Advanced troubleshooting aligned to the OSI model
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure AD, Azure or AWS virtual environments, LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN, Backups systems, SAN/NAS Storage, Endpoint Security
• Bachelors degree in IT or related field, or equivalent industry certifications (CompTIA Security+, Microsoft certifications preferred)
