Position Title: Senior Systems Administrator

Location: Washington, DC

Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst with an active Top-Secret security clearance to support mission-critical operations in Washington, DC. This role involves managing and maintaining complex enterprise IT environments, including VMware, Microsoft Servers, storage solutions, cloud integrations, and security protocols. The ideal candidate will work independently as the sole Systems Administrator, collaborating with network admins and government counterparts to ensure seamless system performance, security compliance, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting VMware vSphere, SANs, Windows Server environments, and supporting cloud and security tools. This is a dynamic role requiring proactive problem-solving, documentation, and continuous improvement to meet rigorous security standards and operational demands.

Top Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in VMware tools such as vSphere, ESXi hosts; ability to fully manage and implement Virtual Machines independently.
• Proven experience managing Storage Area Networks (SAN) like Dell VNXE, Dell EMC, and Veeam backup solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of configuring and managing domain controllers, multi-factor authentication (MFA), Symantec Endpoint Protection, Windows Server 2016, WSUS, and SCCM.
• Four days onsite per week in Washington, DC, with flexible telework days excluding Friday.
• Strong independent work ethic, self-starter, capable of collaborating effectively with government and network teams.
• Minimum of 6 years of systems engineering or administration experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS and proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and PowerCLI.
• Solid understanding of network protocols including DNS, DHCP, LDAP, HTTP/HTTPS, and TCP/IP.

Salary Range: Upto $130K + Benefits (Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits and tuition reimbursement.)
