This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to support the development and modernization of a cloud-based web dashboard application focused on healthcare EDI transaction processing. This role is ideal for someone with strong backend development expertise, hands-on API integration experience, and exposure to modern frontend frameworks in a healthcare or enterprise environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and/or Node.js

• Support Angular-based frontend dashboard development and API integration

• Work with structured healthcare and EDI data formats including XML and JSON

• Collaborate cross-functionally with cloud and backend engineering teams

• Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support in AWS

• Participate in agile development processes, code reviews, and collaborative engineering practices.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong backend focus

• Strong experience with Java, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and REST APIs

• Experience with Angular or another modern frontend framework

• Familiarity with healthcare data, EDI transactions, or enterprise data processing

• Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure

• Experience with Git/GitHub, testing frameworks, and agile methodologies

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in distributed team environments

Nice to Have:

• Healthcare payer, PBM, pharmacy, or clearinghouse experience

• HIPAA knowledge and government accessibility standards familiarity

• Experience with Docker, ECS/EKS, or C#/.NET integration environments

• Exposure to VA systems or healthcare claims workflows

Additional Requirements:

• US Citizenship required

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
