What youll be doing... You will be responsible for the monitoring, testing, preventative maintenance and repair of electrical systems, alarming and monitoring systems, to ensure they remain in a fully operational condition, utilizing your knowledge of electrical theory, pipefitting, and structural layout, per specifications and operational procedures in Verizon Network Facility locations.
You will perform maintenance and repair of the physical facilities structures, security and peripheral systems. You will handle the emergency power backup systems and physical facility remedies at all technical facilities. As the first responder during natural disasters or any facilities threat to the networks integrity, your role will be critical in ensuring best in class customer experience.
Physical requirements of the job may include, but are not limited to: climbing stairs and ladders, working from elevated areas, lifting and carrying objects weighing up to approximately 60 pounds, pushing, grasping, twisting/bending, and crawling, squatting, or kneeling in small spaces.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $83,000.00 - $136,000.00.
