    Description

    Overview:

    The Supply Chain Technology team actively partners to lead the development of the omni-channel supply chain network of the future.  The team works with Supply Chain business partners and internal stakeholders to build and sustain the product pipeline for a $24 billion Restaurant Chain with over 3,000 Restaurants, and a supplier and distribution network of over 10+ partners and 20+ production facilities.

     

    As a Technical Program Lead, you will serve on a product team that delivers digital solutions in support of Supply Chain sourcing leads category strategy to ensure Chick-fil-A Quality Product is available at a fair market value. Key business outcomes in the Strategic Sourcing Tools domain are digitally enabled by a suite of custom and 3rd party software solutions. These digital solutions curate advanced analytics, capacity and contingency risk modeling, identification of cost drivers to inform strategic decision making in service of our procurement teams and executive leaders.
     
    This role will live in our Digital Transformation and Technology (DTT) department and work closely with an Agile team including product managers, software engineers, data analysts, quality engineers, and system reliability engineers. This role requires technical, data, and analytical skills and aptitude for translating Supply Chain needs and capabilities into tactical backlog items for the engineering team.

     

    Additional Function-Specific Duties:

    • Steward opportunities and appropriate usage of embedded intelligence (AI) solutions
    • Working experience with the Product Operating Model and other Agile development approaches and techniques
    • Experience with technical systems, data structures and languages
    • Experience with UX/UI design
    • Experience in driving teams and management to decisions from a position of influence
    Responsibilities:
    • Partner closely with Supply Chain Product Managers to develop a vision and strategy for the Strategic Sourcing Tools that are critical for empowering our sourcing leads with actionable data as well as the digital ecosystem that makes sense for how they define and act upon their respective category strategies
    • Considered an SME for the technical initiatives and programs supported. Owns the relationship with the support resources and maintains relationships with technical leads to enable outcomes
    • Translate business requirements into stories and technical requirements for the product backlog; collaborate with the product managers to refine and prioritize stories according to business needs
    • Partner with technical and business teammates to document current-state and future-state business process requirements including data flows, configurations, and reporting needs
    • Lead the resolution of bugs and system-related issues.
    • Proactively identify needs to collaborate across other product and platform teams as required
    • Contribute to delivering value to stakeholders and ensuring it is maximized at the end of every sprint.
    • Lead and coordinate all software version upgrades with business stakeholders and software vendors to ensure successful migrations and minimal business interruptions.
