The Tooling Process & Training Team is responsible for developing and proliferating custom service and commissioning tooling hardware to assist in the rapid development and maintenance of Tesla Energy storage and charging solutions, along with training of individuals on these solutions.
This skilled and motivated individual will help with the creation and coordination of the new hire training program, helping with content creation, delivery of said content, project coordination, and be the liaison with the field service team.
- Effectively and enthusiastically deliver equipment-specific training to Field Technicians and Engineers in classroom and field settings using a variety of presentation formats, including:
- Instructor-Led
- Facilitative group learning
- Active hands-on learning
- Functional assessments
- Provide comprehensive schedule management and tracking of learners completed and required training in the Tesla-specific Learning Management software system.
- Work cross-functionally with the Training Systems and Development team to manage content storage and identify and track measures-of-success metrics.
- Support development of high-quality, engaging technical content and lab exercises on a wide variety of applications (basic and advanced) in concert with process SMEs.
- Strong safety-first, interpersonal, and communication skills to deliver training and collaborate on closed-loop learnings with a variety of team members.
Practical Experience & Skills:
- Practical experience in industrial technical maintenance engineering applications.
- Strong ability to work and communicate effectively with team and peers within the Training, Maintenance, and Engineering organizations.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and hands-on experience with hardware tools, instruments, and methods applicable to field service procedures.
- Technology Skills: Ability to integrate computer applications into teaching.
- Strong ability to work in cross-functional groups from diverse technical and experience backgrounds.
- Understanding of basic electrical HV best practices.

Expected Compensation:
$68,000 - $144,000 annual salary, cash, and stock awards.
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
