Sr. Technology Engineer

Title: Sr. Technology Engineer (Operations)

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technology Engineer (Operations) with a strong developer-first mindset and hands-on experience in cloud-native development, observability platforms, and AI-driven automation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hybrid cloud environments and can leverage modern tools to improve system reliability, monitoring efficiency, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, build, and support cloud-native applications in Azure and AWS
• Optimize observability platforms like Datadog, Dynatrace, and SolarWinds to improve signal quality and reduce alert fatigue
• Develop and automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Integrate Generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) into development and automation processes
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and application lifecycle management
• Enhance incident response, monitoring, and event management processes
• Collaborate with operations, security, and platform teams to improve system performance and reliability

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in Software Development / Systems Engineering
• Strong experience with Azure & AWS cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with observability/monitoring tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, SolarWinds)
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Experience with DevOps practices, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
• Understanding of incident management, alerting, and event triage

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to SIEM tools (Azure Sentinel, Cribl)
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, AAD
• Experience in Agile/SAFe environment
