This role requires onsite Monday through Friday.Key ResponsibilitiesData Center Operations: Oversee day‑to‑day operations, monitor systems, troubleshoot, and ensure uptime.Hardware Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and configuration of servers, network devices, and storage.Environmental Management: Monitor cooling, power distribution, and fire suppression systems.Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and implement telecommunications systems; evaluate and select hardware, software, and vendors.Project Management: Lead data center projects—network expansions, migrations, upgrades.Incident Management: Respond to incidents, analyze root cause, and implement corrective actions.Capacity Planning: Assist in planning future capacity—space, power, cooling—and support equipment installation.Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and incident reports.Security Compliance: Ensure operations comply with physical security, access controls, and data protection protocols.Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior technicians; provide technical support and training.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in data center operations or a central office field technician role.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, Cisco CCNA, Data Center Management certifications) are a plus.Proficiency in server hardware, networking, and storage systems.Experience with DCIM tools.Knowledge of power and cooling systems.Familiarity with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform in demanding environments.On‑call rotation required.Travel may be required throughout the USA and Canada.Technical SkillsServer hardware, networking, storage systems.DCIM tools.Power and cooling systems.Cloud computing (AWS, Azure).Total RewardsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage; paid time off; a 401(k) retirement plan with company match; flexible spending accounts; tuition reimbursement; paid parental leave; access to a robust library of personal and professional training resources; employee discounts; critical illness and hospital indemnity coverage; legal support; pet insurance; identity theft protection; an Employee Assistance Program with free mental health resources; and more.SalaryThe starting salary is anticipated between $90,000 and $110,000 to start, commensurate with experience.Equal Opportunity StatementIntrado is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Veterans/Disabled and Other Protected Categories.
