    Job Title: Sr. Test Engineer
    Location: Redmond, WA
    Job Type: Fulltime/ Contract
    Years of Experience: 7-10 Years
    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in test automation scripting. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of developing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This role requires a detail oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
    Responsibilities:
    Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using scripting languages.
    Execute automated and manual tests to ensure software quality and performance.
    Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and requirements.
    Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
    Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to improve testing processes.
    Provide feedback on software usability and functionality based on testing results.
    Continuously improve testing methodologies and practices.
    Mentor junior team members in test automation best practices.
    Mandatory Skills:
    Strong proficiency in scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Ruby).
    Extensive experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
    Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
    Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
    Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Preferred Skills:
    Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
    Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
    Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    Experience in API testing and automation.
    Understanding of cloud based testing environments.
    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    7 10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
    Proven experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
    Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
