Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Experience Designer / UI/UX Designer III to join client’s Ads Design and help bring the buyer-side advertising product vision to life. The role will focus on designing experiences across
search, browse, item pages, and off-client placements, with an emphasis on high-traffic consumer experiences where design decisions are measured through research and performance data.
The ideal candidate will have strong end-to-end product design experience across web and mobile, a broad ideation range, and the ability to take defined problems from early exploration through production-ready design. Experience with complex interfaces, advertising/campaign management, and large-scale design systems is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate multiple design concepts aligned to an established buyer-side product vision, evaluating tradeoffs and presenting credible design directions.
- Take product problems from early exploration through production-ready designs, including flows, prototypes, and detailed specifications.
- Partner closely with lead designers, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to maintain consistency across advertising products and experiences.
- Design complex, high-traffic consumer experiences across search, browse, item pages, and off-client placements, including experiences influenced by AI.
- Use user research, performance data, competitive insights, and documented assumptions to inform design decisions.
- Contribute reusable patterns and solutions to the broader design system to improve consistency and avoid duplicative design work.
Must-Have Skills:- 5+ years of end-to-end product/experience design experience with a strong portfolio across web and mobile.
- Proven experience designing consumer-facing, high-traffic digital products where design decisions are measured through data or performance.
- Strong ideation and concept-development skills with the ability to quickly develop and evaluate multiple design directions.
- Hands-on experience creating prototypes, user flows, design specifications, and production-ready designs.
- Experience working with and contributing to large-scale design systems.
Nice-to-Have Skills:- Experience designing complex interfaces or interactions involving advertising and campaign management.
- Experience with complex seller experiences or advertising products.
- Experience designing AI-influenced consumer experiences.
- Experience organizing or leading design sprints.
Preferred Qualifications:- Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth across web and mobile product experiences.
- Collaborative approach with experience working within established product vision and direction.
- Ability to make sound design decisions with incomplete information and clearly document assumptions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale and tradeoffs to Product, Engineering, and Design stakeholders.
- Experience working in high-scale eCommerce, advertising, marketplace, or consumer technology environments.
