Sr. Underwriter - Multi-Lines

General Placement Service has been retained by a national insurance carrier. They are seeking a Senior Underwriter to manage the northeast territory by performing new and renewal business. Our client specializes in writing commercial insurance tailored to general liability, workers compensation, and commercial auto.

In this role, you will:

• Develop relationships with broker partners throughout a territory
• Promote company products and service
• Determine policy premiums and terms within underwriting authority level
• Assess risk by reviewing loss history for complex submissions
• Maintain compliance

To be qualified, you should have:

• 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience
• Experience in multi-line underwriting
• Transportation Underwriting experience
• Bachelor’s degree
