Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Senior UX Writer. Summary: This user experience role creates quality, high performing content for the client to enable innovative, cohesive and compliant digital experiences that serve the needs of our members, member service representatives and business partners. This role independently leverages human-centered design, user testing, content design principles, omnichannel content strategy, SEO best practices, accessibility guidelines, brand and style guidelines to create content and execute holistic digital content experiences to help solve member problems and achieve business goals. Responsibilities:
  • Creates high-quality, high-performing content to enable innovative, cohesive, and compliant digital experiences that serve the needs of our members, member service representatives and business partners
  • Develop webpage and application and quote flows for usaa.com by using clear, concise and engaging high-quality content that aligns to USAA brand and style.
  • Read and analyze business requirements provided to create the necessary content
  • Collaborate effectively with business partners and stakeholders
  • Directly edit text inside components, frames, modals, prototypes
Navigate around the design panels and through layers within a file:
  • Changing font styles (size, bold, etc.)
  • Adding bullets
  • Digging into layers to edit specific parts of components
  • Checking and editing version history
  • Configuring components with design system guidelines

Requirements:

  • UX Writing certification
  • 6+ years of user experience writing or content design experience
  • 6+ years of experience with SEO, AP style, using style guides
  • Experience working with subject matter experts and design teams to create user experiences
  • Ability to write in a clear, concise and conversational tone
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to use constructive feedback and adapt writing style when needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strategy skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
  • Highly organized, with the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at once while handling competing priorities
  • Strong portfolio or writing samples is a must
  • Experience with Figma, SEM Rush, MS Word
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment with the expectation of delivering assignments within a span of 1 to 3 days based on complexity

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
