Vitus Search Group has been asked to partner with a major waste industry leader seeking a Sr Vice President of Waste Operations

The firm is seeking to have someone in place by April 20th of 2026

Position is remote but does have 70% travel to predominantly south regional states

Position pays $210K with bonuses - to be discussed in the interviews

Vice President of Waste Operations

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an organization, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and alignment with strategic goals. Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day waste operations, ensuring that business processes are efficient and effective.
Strategy Development: Define and implement operational strategies, structures, and processes to support the company's goals.
Budget Management: Oversee the quarterly and annual budgeting process, including P&L responsibilities.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor operational performance, identify efficiency issues, and propose solutions to enhance productivity.
Team Leadership: Interview, hire, train, and mentor the operations management team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
