Title: Sr Workday Admin
Location : Pasadena, CA (fully remote)
Target Start Date : mid-November
Type: Contract (6 months)
Pay Rate : $80-90/hr

Our client, a global leader in aerospace R&D, is seeking a contract Sr Workday HRIS Analyst to help support their internal team. This role will focus on the day-to-day configuration, administration, and optimization of Workday across multiple modules including HCM and Prism Analytics. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing Workday in a fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to partner effectively with HR, IT, and business stakeholders.

• System Administration & Configuration
  • Manage day-to-day Workday configurations and security assignments.
  • Maintain business processes, condition rules, notifications, and calculated fields.
  • Support system upgrades, releases, and testing cycles.
• HCM Core & Talent Acquisition Support
  • Configure and maintain core HCM functionality (benefits, job profiles, positions, compensation, absence, benefits).
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on requisition workflows, candidate pipelines, and onboarding processes (recruiting, onboarding, staffing applications, compensation, absence & time off, talent module)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues across recruiting and core HR.
  • Security roles
• Reporting & Analytics (Workday Prism)
  • Build and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and data sets using Workday Report Writer and Prism.
  • Ensure data integrity and provide insights for HR and leadership decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to deliver custom analytics.
  • General Workday reporting
• End-User & Stakeholder Support
  • Provide day-to-day functional support to HR and business teams.
  • Document system changes, maintain knowledgebase, and deliver training as needed.
  • Partner with IT and external vendors for integrations and escalations.

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday administration/configuration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Strong knowledge of HCM Core, Recruiting & Benefits modules, integrations, company reorgs
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics and Report Writer.
• Understanding of Workday security framework and business process configuration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner across HR and IT teams.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Workday certification(s) in HCM, Recruiting, or Reporting/Prism.
• Experience supporting other modules (Learning, Compensation, Absence, Benefits).
• Familiarity with integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio a plus).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
