Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SRE Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UNIX/Linux administration, cloud monitoring, and infrastructure automation. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining reliable and scalable systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Expertise in UNIX/Linux Administration and AWS/Azure Cloud monitoring
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Strong programming/scripting skills (Python, Go, Java, or equivalent)
- Deep experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with GPU/AI compute clusters and high-performance data storage
- Experience in regulated environments (financial services, compliance, audit, security)
- Proven track record of reducing operational toil via automation
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain infrastructure supporting GenAI applications
- Design and build automation for core platform capabilities
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and systemic remediation
