Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a SRE Production Support for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA/Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will lead 24/7 production support, incident management, and reliability improvement initiatives for critical security applications.
Rate Range: $50/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
SRE Production Support Job Responsibilities include:
Lead 24/7 production support operations to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of critical security applications and platforms.
Act as a senior L2 support engineer, driving major incident management activities and coordinating timely resolution during high-severity incidents.
Monitor application and infrastructure health using observability and monitoring tools, proactively identifying and preventing potential outages.
Perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA), implement corrective actions, and drive continuous reliability and service improvement initiatives.
Support and troubleshoot enterprise security solutions, including IAM, SSO, authentication, and SIEM platforms, while ensuring compliance with security standards.
Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex production issues.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
6-8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Production Support, Application Support, or Infrastructure Operations.
Strong experience in 24/7 production support, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), observability/monitoring tools, and driving resolution of high-severity incidents in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience supporting security platforms such as IAM, SSO, Authentication, and SIEM solutions, with a strong understanding of security, compliance, audit requirements, and service reliability best practices.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
