Physical Requirements

May require sitting for long periods of time, using a computer for extended periods. Requires handling of light-weight objects up to 10 pounds, repetitive motion, some standing or walking.

Shift

Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30 pm. Occassionally requires hours outside that period to meet work demands. Hybrid eligible.

Job Summary

The College of Nursing, Office of Professional Development, seeks an SRNA Program Manager to join the team. This position will provide leadership and operational oversight for the Kentucky State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) Program and related professional development activities within the College of Nursing.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads the planning, administration, and continuous improvement of the Kentucky SRNA program and AHA BLS offerings, ensuring effective delivery of classroom, laboratory, and clinical training activities.
  • Oversees student-facing operations, supporting participant engagement, progression, completion, and adherence to program requirements.
  • Serves as the program's regulatory compliance expert, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations, university policies, and accreditation or approval requirements.
  • Manages program budgets, revenue, expenditures, contractor payments, and resource allocation to support fiscal stewardship and long-term sustainability.
  • Supervises instructional nurse contractors, including contract management, onboarding, performance oversight, and coordination of instructional activities.
  • Builds and maintains collaborative partnerships with faculty, healthcare facilities, contractors, regulatory agencies, and university stakeholders to support program success.
  • Develops and implements operational processes, reporting systems, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accountability, and risk mitigation.
  • Directs professional development activities and special events, coordinating logistics, communications, and evaluation efforts to support college and program objectives.
  • Provides strategic recommendations to leadership regarding program growth, resource utilization, compliance requirements, and operational effectiveness.
