SSC Maintenance Technician

Description:

Essential Functions of the position:

• Basic troubleshooting and repairing of machinery
• Preventative maintenance
• Tear-down and rebuild of machinery
• Lockout/Tagout

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and hand tool knowledge and usage ability
• General electrician knowledge
• Ability to read and follow electrical diagrams
• Ability to endure heights - up to 150 feet
• Manufacturing experience

Supervision Received:

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Tools and Equipment:

Provided by employee:

• Basic hand tools (e.g., ratchets and sockets, screwdrivers, allen wrenches etc.)

Provided by the employer:

• Specialty tools

Work Environment:

• Not climate-controlled
• Foundry environment

Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to:

• Bend
• Squat
• Kneel
• Stand for the duration of the shift

Compensation details: 14.99-19.72 Hourly Wage
