Job Description
Responsible for ensuring facility sanitary specifications are attained
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for following GMP's, SOP's, HACCP procedures, Quality Plan work instructions, plant rules and policies.
- Make rounds every hour in the assigned production/storage areas.
- Check rooms temperature four (4) times a day.
- Make sure rooms are clean and trash has been picked up.
- Sign SSOP sheets as required.
- Check for the following:
a) Foreign objects
b) Condensation
c) GMP's violations
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in room temperatures that run below 40 degrees and above 90 degrees.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to be flexible with varying job assignments and working conditions.
- Must be able to work as a team player with other employees in the Sanitation and Production departments.
- Must be able to communicate with Supervision, Quality Assurance and USDA personnel.
- Must have strong desire to accept responsibility show initiative and be a team player.
- Must be willing and able to perform other job functions as needed.
