SSRS/.NET Developer

We are seeking a Senior SSRS/.NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions and web applications that support critical business operations. This role is responsible for building and optimizing SSRS reports, developing .NET Core MVC applications, integrating data from SQL Server and Oracle databases, and implementing CI/CD processes while collaborating closely with business stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Job Duties

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SSRS reports and supporting database objects for enterprise SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Develop and maintain .NET Core MVC applications using C#, dependency injection, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Design and support relational and multidimensional database solutions.
• Optimize report and database performance through performance tuning and query optimization.
• Develop, test, and validate SSRS reports and database objects prior to user acceptance testing.
• Apply Agile development methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Design and support reporting database solutions, including report server configuration and security administration.
• Research new software releases and assist with system upgrades, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Utilize Azure DevOps to manage work items, provide project status updates, and estimate development efforts.
• Manage source code using Git version control.
• Create, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build and deployment processes.
• Publish and manage Power BI reports across service workspaces and deployment pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with established development standards, best practices, and IT governance.
• Mentor team members on development standards, best practices, and established IT processes.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for applications, reports, and development activities.
• Independently manage assigned projects and technical deliverables.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills while supporting business users.

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of related professional experience in software development and reporting.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies, including SSRS development and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL operations.
• In-depth experience developing applications with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, dependency injection, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Extensive experience working with large datasets and developing reports from multiple data sources.
• In-depth experience working with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and SQL Developer.
• In-depth experience working with SQL Server databases, T-SQL, and SQL Server Management Studio.
• In-depth experience with data modeling and the ability to analyze and understand database design.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is highly desired.
