Tired of Being Treated Like Just Another Wrench-Turner?
Yeah. We've been there too.
If you're a tech who's sick of being undervalued, working with garbage tools, and feeling like your skills don't matter — keep reading. This one's different.
My name is Jonathan Hummel. I own Hummel's Auto Repair in St. George, Utah — and this shop exists for one reason: YOU.
Not the bottom line. Not just to fill bays.
I believe that when a technician feels truly valued at work — when they're respected, invested in, and given the tools to be great — it doesn't stop at the shop door. It follows them home. It shows up in how they lead their families. How they show up in their community. How they carry themselves everywhere they go.
10 years ago, I made a promise to build a place where techs don't just fix cars — they grow into the leaders they were meant to be. At home. In their family. In this community.
That's what Hummel's is built on.
What Working at Hummel's Actually Looks Like:
- $40–$60/hour — real money for real skill
- Never open on weekends — your time is yours
- All the tools and equipment you need — no more making do
- Paid certifications — we invest in YOU
- Health benefits — we contribute
- Team events — Top Golf, BBQs, bowling and more
- Monday–Friday schedule — every week, no exceptions
We're growing fast and need to add skilled technicians AND a service advisor to keep up.
If you have 3+ years of professional shop experience and you're ready to actually enjoy coming to work — we want to hear from you.
Don't overthink it. Call or text Jonathan directly at 435-817-5437. Or just stop by the shop.
You've never worked somewhere like this. Come find out why.
