St. Pius X School PreK Manager Catholic Preferred but not Required St. Pius X School, located at 1061 Waggoner Road in Reynoldsburg, is seeking a qualified and dedicated PreK Manager for the 2026–2027 school year. Under the direction of school administrators, the PreK Manager is responsible for overseeing the spiritual, academic, social-emotional, and operational success of the preschool program. This position works collaboratively with families, teachers, and school leadership to provide a nurturing, high-quality early childhood education environment that supports the growth and development of every child. Primary Responsibilities- Manage student enrollment and serve as a welcoming point of contact for prospective families, introducing them to the St. Pius X School community.
- Supervise preschool teachers and support staff to ensure a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and evaluate preschool staff and teachers.
- Plan and coordinate professional development opportunities for preschool personnel.
- Develop, implement, and communicate policies and procedures that comply with Ohio Department of Education and state licensing requirements.
- Prepare and manage the preschool budget in collaboration with school administration.
- Oversee curriculum implementation and establish standards that promote educational excellence and kindergarten readiness.
- Partner with teachers to maintain effective communication with families regarding student growth, development, and classroom activities.
- Meet with parents and caregivers to discuss student progress and address concerns.
- Ensure the facility is maintained in accordance with all state and local health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Foster positive relationships among students, families, staff, and the broader school community.
- Support the mission, values, and Catholic identity of St. Pius X School.
Qualifications- Associate degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience in early childhood education administration required.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in an early childhood classroom or preschool program; supervisory experience preferred.
- Current certifications required by the Ohio Department of Education and state licensing regulations, including but not limited to First Aid, CPR, Child Abuse Recognition, and Communicable Disease Training.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiastic, nurturing, and passionate about early childhood education.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- Current and satisfactory BCI and FBI background checks.
- Must have attended or be willing to attend VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training.
