You will be expected to return to your position/building/shift assignment at the end of the assignment. This is NOT a job code change or internal transfer, and will only be a limited-term Short-Term Assignment with no change in compensation.** Are you an Area Manager that is passionate about your role and looking to support recruitment efforts to bring the best talent for Amazon? To assist in recruiting and engaging university talent for Amazon Operations, the team is seeking Area Managers from across the network who are interested in completing a short-term assignment as a recruiter for campus hire field talent. All short-term assignment recruiters (STARs) will join the University Ops Recruiting Team for 15 weeks and will function as individual contributors in their role. STARs support candidate sourcing and engagement, collegiate information sessions and career fairs, interview event facilitation, and more. STARs will be expected to deliver against high-volume hiring goals and work quickly to meet the needs of our business and stakeholders. STARs should be passionate about Hiring and Developing the Best new talent for the Ops network, ready and eager to share their experiences with students and candidates, and comfortable navigating ambiguous work at a fast pace. Recruiting experience is not necessary, as the team will provide all relevant training and guidance during the first two weeks of the program. Basic Qualifications for Area Manager STAR - Bachelor's Degree - At least 1 year of tenure at Amazon - Current L4 or L5 Area Manager - Direct manager and site approval before consideration - Currently in Good Standing (cannot be on a Pivot/Focus Plan) - Must be willing to travel - Weekly travel to support in-person interview facilitation - Facilitate and support campus engagement events - Must be Area Manager at NACF/AMZL/NASC Site. Other site types will be considered with site lead approval.
