In this role, you will support a wide range of accounting functions, including month-end close, account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-established organization that offers long-term growth potential and the chance to contribute to process improvements and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesExecute month-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and reportingInvestigate and resolve discrepancies across accounts and financial recordsMaintain accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions within the general ledgerSupport inventory accounting including reconciliations, variance analysis, and standard costAssist with inventory counts and ensure accurate transaction recordingSupport year-end audit activities by preparing schedules and providing documentationMaintain and update the chart of accounts to ensure proper classification of financial dataAnalyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and complianceMonitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balancesLeverage Microsoft Excel and the company systems to manage and analyze financial dataAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as neededIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and documentationQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting is required3+ years of accounting experience is requiredExperience with month-end close, journal entries, & reconciliations are requiredSolid analysis and Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables are requiredAbility to work 100% on-site is required#J-18808-Ljbffr
