Job Title: Staff Accountant
Pay: $26.00 $30.00/hr
Hours: Monday Friday, 8-hour shifts

As a Staff Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing the flow of financial data and supporting the monthly accounting cycle within a marine industry environment. You'll work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

What You'll Do
As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Managing general ledger entries and reconciliations
Processing accounts receivable and payable transactions
Maintaining and tracking fixed assets
Performing bank reconciliations and balance sheet analysis
Supporting employee benefits accounting and expense analysis
Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles and internal controls

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
Experience with accrual accounting and GAAP standards
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and communication skills
Relevant educational background or related work experience
