Staff Accountant - Accounts Payable

SHIFT: Day

EXTENSION/CONVERSION: Eligible

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Staff Accountant for our client in innovative nuclear technology. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices, expense reimbursements, and other items.

• Own full-cycle AP.
• Review invoices against PO/PR.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Record invoices in Oracle Accounts Payable.
• Monitoring AP aging.
• Manage vendor relations, resolve variances and discrepancies, and set up new vendors.
• Support general ledger accounting.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume AP environment.
• MS Suite proficiency.
• Highly organized.
• GAAP and FAR knowledge.

BONUS Qualifications

Oracle Cloud AP Knowledge.

Nuclear industry experience.

Working knowledge of government grant or government contracts.
